During the use of the rotary evaporator, sometimes the motor always has a high speed and there is no way to adjust the speed. The abnormality of this motor generally has the following reasons:
1.The speed measuring generator coil is broken, and it can be tested by universal meter. The normal resistance is about 400Ω.
2.The generator coil is shorted to the housing.
3.The generator magnetic ring does not turn.
4. The generator magnetic ring is broken.
After finding the cause, the solution has the following types:
1.If the generator is disconnected, replace the coil or switch on the trip point.
2.If the generator coil is short-circuited to the outer casing, open the generator rear cover of the motor to remove the open circuit.
3.Tighten the M5 nut.
4.Replace the generator magnetic ring.
