RE-2002 rotary evaporator operation

RE-1002(10L rotary evaporator),RE-2002(20L rotary evaporator),RE-5002(50L rotary evaporator) are all our rotary of evaporator products,The following is their operation procedure:

50L rotary evaporation instrument

Operation:

The evaporation rate of the device depends on the following three points:

1.The higher vacuum degree, the faster the device evaporates. The vacuum degree should be not less than 0.096 Mpa.

2.The higher the heating bath temperature, the faster the speed. Generally not more than 80 ° C. Specific temperature according to the process requirements.

3.The lower the cooling water temperature, the faster the speed. Using coolant is much better.

I. Operation procedure

1.Vacuum:

Do the following things if not reach the required vacuum degree after starting up the vacuum pump. Check the PTFE seal, tension ring, couplings to see whether they are sealed good. Check the vacuum pump to see how it works. The external vacuum tube connected to vacuum switch can adjust slightly to reach the best recovery rate and evaporation speed.

2.Feeding:

Due to vacuum negative pressure, liquid material flow into the evaporating flask automatically through a hose. Do not feed more than half of its capacity. The device can achieve a continuous feed. When start feeding, operator should pay attention to:

(1) Turn off the vacuum pump.

(2) Stop heating.

(3) Open the feeding valve slowly when the device finish evaporating in case of back-flow.

3.Heating:

The heating bath is equipped with advanced intelligent control panel. It is based on a computer chip as the main control unit. Using multiple digital filter circuit, interference automatic recovery, PID control and self-tuning function. It has advantages such as: high accuracy, stable and accurate temperature control, anti-interference ability, simple operation, etc. Evaporating flask is immersed by moving up and down via the heating bath lift.

You can fill the heating bath with various heating bath fluids:

* Tap water (no deionized or distilled water)

* Oil with low viscosity (40 cP) and flashpoint > 260°C.
