1. The rotary evaporator must be carried by the measuring personnel, and must not be collided or placed upside down.
2. The rotary evaporator must be shipped in a shock-proof box with a cushion, and the words "not to be inverted" should be marked on the outside of the box, and "optical or electronic instruments, handle with care, and heavy pressure is strictly prohibited". An escort should be sent if necessary.
3. When the Rotary Evaporator is transported by a car, it should be placed on the front cushion of the car to prevent bumping and vibration, or it should be held on the lap by a person, or it can be carried on the back. It should not be placed on the bottom of the car. on the cabinet.
4. When moving the station in a short distance, the instrument should be held vertically to keep the instrument in the vertical state of the vertical axis, and must not be carried on the shoulder to avoid bumping the instrument or damaging the shaft system of the instrument.
 
The precautions for unpacking, packing and closing the rotary evaporator are as follows:
1. After the rotary evaporator is turned on, familiarize yourself with the corresponding positions of each component. When taking the instrument, hold the bracket with one hand, sit on the base with the other hand or hold the bracket with both hands, and take it out slowly. It is strictly forbidden to use a portable telescope or horizontal axis.
2. Before taking out the instrument, set up the tripod first, put it on the tripod immediately after taking it out, and fix it with the center screw.
3. Before the rotary evaporator is packaged, the observer shall not leave the instrument.
4. When packing the rotary evaporator, the brake screw should be fixed or loosened according to the type of the instrument. After the parts are properly placed in their respective positions, the box cover can be gently closed, and the hooks on both sides can be fastened.
5. When closing the box, pay attention to checking the tools and accessories to see if they are placed properly, so as not to move during transportation and damage the instrument parts.
6. When there are obstacles in the box and cover, the cause should be found out, and the cover should be added after removal. Hard pressing and hard buckle are strictly prohibited.

1. When using the instrument, firstly pump the vacuum to about 0.03MPa, and then start the rotation to prevent the distillation flask from slipping; when stopping, stop the rotation first, hold the distillation flask by hand, open the atmosphere, and stop when the vacuum degree drops to about 0.04MPa. Vacuum pump to prevent the distillation bottle from falling off and sucking back.
2. Each interface, sealing surface, sealing ring and joint should be coated with a layer of vacuum grease before installation.
3. Water must be added to the water bath before electrification, and dry burning without water is not allowed.
4. When the vacuum degree is too low, pay attention to check the air tightness of each joint, vacuum tube and glass bottle.
5. When the rotary evaporator is sensitive to air, connect a nitrogen balloon to the exhaust port, first pass a burst of nitrogen to ensure that the air in the rotary evaporator is discharged, and then connect the distillation flask containing the sample for rotary evaporation. After evaporating, release nitrogen to increase the pressure, then turn off the pump, and then remove the sample bottle and seal it.
6. If the viscosity of the sample is very large, the rotation speed should be slowed down. It is best to rotate slowly by hand, so that a new liquid level can be formed and the solvent can be evaporated.
