For safety reasons, the use of a rotary evaporator should have a standardized operating procedure to prevent accidents.The safe operation steps of the rotary evaporator are generally as follows:

1. Turn on the cooling water switch, cooling and circulating.

2. Add an appropriate amount of tap water to the water bath, open the water bath switch, adjust the water bath to the desired temperature, and the water bath is automatically heated.

3. Turn on the vacuum pump switch and close the vacuum valve.

4. A distillation flask preliminarily charged with a solvent to be evaporated was attached to a rotary evaporator, and the flask was adjusted to an appropriate position.

5. Turn on the rotary evaporator power, turn on the rotary switch, and adjust the speed.

6. Enter normal operation and observe the operation at any time.

7. When the receiving bottle is full, close the vacuum pump to open the vacuum valve, open the clamp to remove the receiving bottle, pour out the recovery liquid, then install the receiving bottle, and open the vacuum for normal operation.
