The rotary evaporator is a commonly used instrument in the laboratory. It consists of motor, distillation flask,heating mantle and condenser.It is widely used in chemistry, medicine, biological engineering and other fields. Today we will introduce the structure of the rotary evaporator.

Condenser: Our company has two options: vertical condensing tube and inclined condensing tube. The vertical type is more space-saving.

Evaporation tube: The evaporator tube can play the role of the sample rotating support shaft, and the vacuum system can suck the sample out through the evaporator tube.

Rotating bottle and rotating motor: The rotating motor drives the rotation of the evaporating bottle to mix the solution at a uniform speed.

Receiving bottle: The sample enters the collection bottle directly after cooling. The collection bottle is set under the instrument to collect the processed distillation sample. The bottom is equipped with a discharge valve to open the valve to directly collect the extracted sample.

Vacuum system: The vacuum system is used to reduce the air pressure of the rotary evaporator and provide a vacuum environment for the experiment.

Water/oil bath: Use water or oil as the medium to heat the sample to keep the distilled sample in a constant temperature environment.

Lifting device: control the lifting of the rotating bottle.

Digital display control panel: display speed and other parameters, control heating, speed, lifting, etc.

This is the structural composition of the rotary evaporator, each part is indispensable, they complement each other and each play an important role.The evaporation effect of a rotary evaporator is mainly affected by the evaporation medium, the evaporation speed, the evaporation method, and the evaporation time, of which time and speed are the main factors.
